Harry Wilson has collected 69 international caps for Wales
The 29-year-old forward has moved to Elland Road on a permanent deal running until 2030, arriving without a transfer fee after his previous agreement with Fulham expired at the conclusion of last season.
The Wales international spent two years at Craven Cottage after switching from Liverpool in 2022 for a £12m fee, initially joining on loan before making the move permanent. His most productive Premier League campaign came in the most recent season, finding the net on ten occasions across 36 top-flight appearances.
Once the season had ended and I entered the free agent market, I felt Leeds were the club that demonstrated the strongest desire to bring me in, Wilson explained. As a professional footballer, you want to represent a side where you sense they genuinely want you and are making every effort to sign you. He described himself as extremely eager to join what he called a massive club in the top flight, emphasising that playing for Leeds demands considerable personality and the ability to cope with the considerable expectations placed upon players by the organisation and its supporters while maintaining high performance levels on the field.
Wilson becomes Leeds’ first summer acquisition. The club has also been credited with interest in Southampton midfielder Shea Charles and German international Julian Brandt, whose contract at Borussia Dortmund reached its conclusion at the end of the campaign.
