Harry Wilson is set to move to Leeds United after the clubs reached agreement on a four-year deal for the Fulham forward on a free transfer.
The 29-year-old Wales international will see his current contract at Craven Cottage expire in the coming days, though the proposed switch remains conditional on completing a medical and officially putting pen to paper.
Completing the transfer would represent a major achievement for the West Yorkshire side, who were battling against other Premier League clubs for his services.
Leeds have tracked Wilson for an extended period, previously attempting to secure his signature on the final day of the summer transfer window last year only for that move to fall through.
His exit would deal a significant setback to Fulham, who put forward multiple contract offers in a bid to retain their player of the year.
The winger contributed 11 goals and provided eight assists across 38 appearances in all competitions during the previous campaign, translating to a goal contribution approximately every other match.
Wilson arrived at Fulham in 2021 after the club paid Liverpool £12m for his signature.
Fulham are currently searching for a new manager following Marco Silva’s departure to Benfica, though they are close to confirming the appointment of former Liverpool defender and former Real Madrid interim manager Alvaro Arbeloa.
Leeds are simultaneously working on a deal for former Borussia Dortmund midfielder Julian Brandt.
The 30-year-old is also available without a fee but is drawing interest from clubs competing in the Champions League.
Southampton midfielder Shea Charles remains on Leeds’ radar. The south coast club apparently rejected an opening bid of £20m from Leeds for the 22-year-old Northern Ireland international.
