Serbia international Sasa Lukic has moved to Ipswich Town from Fulham in a deal worth keeping private.
The midfielder, aged 29, featured in 26 top-flight matches during the previous campaign and has committed to the club through 2030.
He expressed enthusiasm about joining as a local player.
He becomes the second former Fulham player to join Ipswich this transfer window, following Morocco centre-back Issa Diop through the door.
Lukic arrived at Craven Cottage from Torino in early 2023 and accumulated 106 outings for the London-based side.
He had previously visited Portman Road during top-flight matches and found the crowd atmosphere particularly memorable.
The Serbian has collected 62 international caps and featured for his nation at the 2022 World Cup and Euro 2024.
Manager Gary O’Neil noted that Lukic brings valuable experience to the squad as they prepare for the new season. With nearly 100 Premier League appearances, he understands the league’s demands and performed consistently during his Fulham career.
During his seven-year Torino stint, Lukic contributed 168 games and 14 goals.
